About Me

Hi, i'm Shania! I started making pottery about two years ago and have used it as a creative outlet since. I currently work full time in the helping field, which makes the pottery studio a great place for me to decompress.

Art has always been a part of my life, and I have previously worked as a painting instructor, with experience in oil painting, watercolour, and acrylics. I love to combine my painting experience with pottery, which is why most of my pieces are painted and carved. 

I draw my inspiration from nature and little creatures, particularly ones found in the Alberta prairies and wetlands.
